FULLERTON, Calif. - In the lone evening meet of the year for Vanguard Cross Country, the Lions took part in the Cal State Fullerton Invitational, which weaves its way through the campus. Vanguard was boosted by strong performances from the sophomore duo of Savannah Yi (SO/Glendora, CA) and Marissa Thompson (SO/Riverside, CA) finishing fifth and sixth overall with personal best 5k times of 17:52 and 17:54 among 137 finishers.
