FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. - After a last minute switch of venue due to Cayon Fire 2 spreading around Irvine Regiuonal Park, the 27th Annual Vanguard Invitational was raced at Mile Square Park. The fast course featured lots of pavement leading to six top 15 finishes by the Lions. The women were led by Marissa Thompson (FR/Riverside, CA), Savannah Yi (FR/Glendora, CA), and Om Renfore while the men were guided by three finishers in the top four - Jeronimo Brito (SR/Riverside, CA), Cade Clark (JR/Riverside, CA), and Caleb Myers (FR).
